In order to achieve this consistency a mandatory hands-on, training program is to be completed by franchisees and their managerial staff.

A dedicated member of our operations team provides onsite support in the weeks leading up to the grand opening by training the cashiers, food preparations’, and managers on our secret recipes and best practices. Instilling knowledge, confidence, and brand integrity is just one unique way we ensure consistency in food and service throughout the country.

Each franchisee has several strategy sessions with the corporate team where the Grand Opening Package and Local Store Marketing manual is provided. The strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) for the franchisees’ location are discussed to better tailor their local store marketing initiatives.

Do I need to find a location?

Our Real Estate Support Team will assist you in finding and negotiating a lease for the perfect location to open up your Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes restaurant.

Do you provide Financing?

We have banking programs with major Canadian Banks to assist you in getting financing! To qualify for bank financing, you will be required to have a minimum of 30% of the total cost in unencumbered cash available. (Approximately $150,000). Franchisees will need to secure financing for the remaining 70% using the equity in a home or another business. Financing is based on individual applicant’s financial history and credit rating.

What is the Franchise Fee?

The Franchise Fee is $30,000 for 10 year term.

What are the Royalty and Advertising fees?

On-going Royalty fees are 6% paid monthly, based on gross sales. 3% Advertising fee paid monthly, based on gross sales.

How much money can I make?

Many factors contribute to a franchisees bottom line including rent, controlling costs and the ability to grow sales. Unfortunately, we cannot provide nor predict ROI. We do however provide a “Franchise Disclosure Document” that will outline the “average” costs in our systems to operate a Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes Franchise. Our business is more than providing outstanding menu offerings, it is a people business with a primary and essential focus on customer relations. If you do not wish to be a “hands on” franchisee, then we will recommend that you partner with someone who will dedicate themselves full time.

Will you provide Training?

At Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes we strive to provide a unique support system that is realistic to the needs of our franchise community. We uphold a high set of expectations on the food, service and atmosphere that we provide to customers throughout the nation. In order to achieve this consistency a mandatory 3 weeks hands-on, training program is to be completed by franchisees and their managerial staff. In addition to this, training is provided to Franchisees and their Teams on an ongoing basis.

What is the cost to become a Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes Franchisee?

The overall cost to own a Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes franchise can range between $400,000 – $500,000 depending on size of location. This includes all initial fees, buildout, setup, initial training and operating capital costs!
